Know what's wrong with this picture? Most people don't. And I've searched for how the anterior V leads are supposed to correspond to a NORMAL EKG, but Google Image Search can't find me for me!
This is NOT a normal EKG. It's quite abnormal. First off, the axis is completely left deviated. Probably about 30 degrees towards AVL. The anterior leads (V1-V6) look terrible. I'm not that great at reading EKG's, but I can tell that is an ugly V4 lead.
The reason this picture annoys me is because when I type in "normal EKG heart anatomy", this is the one and only picture that comes up! Shouldn't the picture be of the guy clutching his chest or looking like he is in pain? And this is from a spanish website. They are not known for their stoic characteristics!
Today I'm taking the USMLE Step 1 practice exam...wish me luck. I don't wanna get my hopes up, but I'm doing very well on them so far...
